In January 1971, Jack Engelhart and Bill Morrish started Quality Pool Supply in Clio, Michigan. We delivered 99 inground pools right to the jobsites that first year—a new idea almost anywhere in the country at that time. We were also the first distributor in Michigan that was wholesale only; other distributors also had retail stores. Jack and Bill’s business philosophy for long-term success was to partner with our customers, not compete with them. The rest is history!
