Cary started working at Quality Pool during the summer of 1971 while attending college. In 1975 he became a full time employee doing accounts payable and accounting, and eventually assuming responsibilities as office manager. He was named President in 1989. Cary has been responsible for the company’s catalog since 1975 when he designed the general layout that is still used today. For thirteen years he typed the entire catalog with a typewriter!

Cary is married to Maryjane and they have three children who all work at Quality Pool in some capacity — Crystal is a buyer in the Dublin, Ohio branch, Jordan works summers in customer service in Clio and attends Saginaw Valley State University, and Jenna mows the lawn. Cary’s hobbies are working, snowmobiling, hunting, and paintball.
